What is coaching?
Coaching is not me telling you what to do.
It’s about asking the right questions, at the right time.
It’s about making you aware of things you can’t see yourself.
It’s about helping you see things clearer than you’ve ever seen them before.
This allows you to see the right way forward for you.
It’s both structured and fluid.
It’s both supportive and demanding.
It’s a beautiful thing.
Is coaching a type of therapy?
No.
Coaching is neither therapy or counselling – To be clear I am not trained in either of these things
Coaching is forward focused. We may cover what’s happened in the past briefly but only to understand if it offers some insight in to how you could move forward.
If you have anything in your past you feel you need healing before you move forward then therapy may be what you need.
If at any point I feel coaching is not right for you I will stop our sessions and advise you why.
It seems a lot for basically a load of talking?
